My name is Alex and I like to party!  More like, we are the Fielding’s and WE like to party!

My wife Hillary and I actually fell into the wedding/event industry out of nowhere.  Hillary was a very successful hair stylist and makeup artist working at a salon and started doing bridal parties hair and makeup for their big day.

I was pursuing my finance dream and working as a Banker while one of my clients told me her husband was looking to hire another DJ and said I should give him a call.  So I did and after seeing him DJ a few events I figured I would give it a shot to make some extra cash on the weekends.  Little did I know that 6 years later I would have my own event rental company and several DJ’s working with me every weekend.  So that is how it all began in a nutshell.

After Deejaying for 5 years I realized that there was more to offer the wedding/event industry.  I wanted to be able to help brides and couples have a less hectic event by offering more services all with the same vendor.  By providing DJ services and all the main furniture rentals for an event takes a huge load off of the bride and event coordinators shoulders.  Plus we give all of our clients 5% off their total if they book us for rentals and a DJ 😉. BTW, my wife would be very upset if I failed to admit that she did come up with the name “The Event Co.” All credit goes to you babe.

Once we officially started The Event Co in January of 2016, we immediately hit the ground running. We couldn’t believe how much our friends and family referred us out and how everything all just came together.
